Shoreditch Works secures “premium space” on Hoxton Square
At Shoreditch Office Space, there is nothing we enjoy more than helping our clients secure the work space they want.
We are delighted, therefore, to announce the launch of Shoreditch Works ‘Village Hall’ project with a year-long pop up on Hoxton Square.
The space, a short-term location as the organisation continue to seek out a more permanent residency for the venture, has been funded by a 2012 Kickstarter drive which easily out-stripped a £25,000 target, closing on nearer £100,000. It will host a number of key events there in the coming 12 months as the search for “the perfect long term home” is ongoing.
Shoreditch Works have also sought out new and imaginative ways to engage with the tech start-up community in East London. They are currently holding a competition to provide a year’s free desk space for a team of four, with the winners being voted by the backers of the original Kickstarter campaign.
The lucky quartet will have access to Shoreditch Works’ new facilities, as well as event space, networking opportunities and the plethora of existing talent currently housed in their co-working spaces. As one of the most exciting shared work spaces in East London, we recently had the chance to introduce our friends at TechWorld.com to the guys at Shoreditch Works to see how they’re helping Tech City’s brightest start-ups.
The welcoming and innovative project is soon to be the subject of an article on the changing nature of workspace (follow @Sam_L_Shead for the latest). The Hoxton Square pop up is the latest in a flurry of recent co-working projects that are springing up around Silicon Roundabout.
The “premium space” will undoubtedly be the envy of Shoreditch Works’ competitors, over-looking the central square and its many trendy hangouts.
With buildings like this growing in scarcity, we are delighted to have helped our Tech City neighbours secure the space.
